“ My sister and I decided to go to China Max. I had assumed it was the same China Max that was originally at this location that had been burned down. I thought they rebuilt. Because of this, I was looking forward to their menu options and great food. I quickly found out this was a different China Max. The name and location was the same after the rebuild but the menu was not. This was a 2 page menu with what looked to be limited options. I told my sister I was really bummed and wanted to leave. I asked our server about the menu and he explained about the name, that they've only been open for a couple of months, and they are working to expand their menu. My sister said we should just try it so we did and boy were we glad we did. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! With food that tastes like that, they don't need a huge menu. Everything we ordered (pork buns, chicken wonton, chicken dumplings, spicy noodles (vegetarian), and the garlic green beans was off the chart flavorful. And the service and friendly staff added so much more to the experience. They were quick, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, understanding and personable. John, Tristan and Owen all worked well together and each played a part in making our dining experience an excellent one. Too see a restaurant staff working in unison to provide top notch service was refreshing. I'd recommend this place to anyone. 10 out of 10! ”

“ Checked out China Max for lunch for my partner’s bday. Ordered the pork soup dumplings, crab soup dumplings, beef steamed dumplings, noodles with ground pork & Szechuan peppercorns, har gow and shu mai. The Pork soup dumplings were better than the crab ones, and the beef steamed dumplings really good. These are some of the best soup dumplings (and dumplings in general) that we’ve had outside of Hong Kong. The shu mai was also really tasty. Har gow filling was perfect, but the wrapper fell apart, which was a bummer. Tea pots are really heavy, so help any elderly guests who are dining with you. Overall it was a great lunch. Service was great too. ”

“ My sister and I were in the mood for Chinese food, so we decided to go to China Max. We were not disappointed, but rather pleasantly surprised. First, we were well greeted by John. He was friendly, professional and had a great sense of humor. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and bright. John introduced us with our Server, Tristan. As with John, Tristan was friendly, professional and knowledgeable with the items on the menu. He even made suggestions and answered our questions we had on some of the food we were interested in choosing. Although the menu items were limited, and unlike other Chinese restaurants, we decided to try their food. Again, we were not disappointed. The food was so delicious!!!! I can’t stress that enough. We ordered a vegetable noodle dish, with spicy sauce, various dumplings, wontons, cold green beans, egg drop soup, and barbecue bun. The temperature of the food was just right; the seasoning of each dish made it so unique; the chili sauce was both tangy and sweet, with just enough heat to not burn. The food was so good that we hardly said a word, except to say how good the food was lol. They work as a team there. Tristan took our order, but Owen brought out the food. He was pleasant as well. They all were. John, Tristan and Owen attended to our needs, making sure we were being served appropriately. However, but they were not pushy or annoying - quite the contrary. If you want great tasting food that is reasonably priced, with a nice atmosphere, I highly recommend you try China Max. Thank you China Max ”

Everything tasted amazing, the crab xiao long bao, wagyu beef potstickers, Peking duck tacos, noodles with ground pork, chicken wontons with chili oil, and the sweet and sour pork rib. Definitely left stuffed! Love how we can eat so many small dishes so you get a taste of everything. Very friendly and quick service. Recommend! ”

“ We had a server named Kai (blue eyes, male, tattooed) and he was the best!!! Chill attitude, checked on us often, and was just an overall great guy with positive vibes. The food was good, they really emphasized on higher quality ingredients and cooking technique, so it’s on the pricier side (for dim sum). Their homemade chili oil is wonderful, that stood out to me. Great experience overall :) ”
